About the Role:
We are currently seeking an Allied Health therapist to take on a Team Leader role in Darwin.
In this role, you will enjoy a variety of responsibilities across staff management and support, regional reporting, and therapy service delivery. Some of your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for all aspects of therapy service delivery
- Responsible for therapy service delivery and manage a discipline-specific caseload
- Liaison and collaboration with families, hospitals, other private service providers, and Disability Services Local Coordinators
- Assisting clinicians to record clinical notes and keep a track of therapy service
- Responsibility for all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, and termination of staff and contractors
- Responsibility for initiatives that maintain staff and contractor engagement, and enhance and reward staff performance
- Provide updates on staffing changes, culture and emerging issues
- Providing support to clinicians as requested by the Therapy Services Manager

About You:
- An allied health practitioner who is registered with a nationally recognised health governing body
- Experience in the area of team leadership from a clinical perspective
- Experience leading an allied health team and familiar with stakeholder engagement and communication
- High-level written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to set goals, develop priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated capacity to work with diverse communities
- Experience in working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to be self-directed and visit remote communities
- Working with children check
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Working With Children Check
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
