About the Role:
We are seeking a Registered Psychologist or Rehab Counsellor to join a well-established workplace rehabilitation provider in Newcastle.
As a DES (Different Employer Services) Consultant, you will be providing a range of Workplace Injury Management and Occupational Rehabilitation services to clients under the NSW Workers Compensation scheme. Consultants undertake and psychological functional assessments, as well as workplace assessments for workers with psychological injuries. They assist injured workers to return to work in a sustainable and timely manner by working with the injured worker, their employer, medical/allied health practitioners and their union.
Full-time, part-time and contract positions are available!

About You:
- A Registered Psychologist (with full AHPRA registration) or Rehabilitation Counselor (with RCAA or ASORC registration)
- Previous Occ Rehab industry experience is desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to liaise with all stakeholders
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strong computer and report writing skills
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
