Occupational Therapist - Community Social Services - London, UK

About the Role:
 
MediRecruit is looking to recruit an experienced HCPC Registered, Occupational Therapist to work with our well-respected client based in North London

You will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive assessments within the community for people who have either a permanent or a complex and substantial disability.

Being a part of a Multidisciplinary Team, you will be reviewing the appropriateness and effectiveness of the existing provision of care whilst exploring ways how service users can be supported towards greater independence. Alongside being responsible for carrying out assessments under relevant legislation such as the Care Act and Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act, to reduce handoffs and ensure that changes in the environment that facilitate independence are reflected in the care provision.

About You:

- Current Registration with HCPC
- Right to work in the UK (Youth Mobility Visa/ British Passport Holders).
- Band 6
- Relevant qualifications
- Social Services Experience
- Able to drive a car
