Team Leader Occupational Therapist - Community / NDIS - Brisbane QLD

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a full-time Team Leader Occupational Therapist to take on a community role in Brisbane.

This role will have an extensive focus on professional development and career mapping. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of therapists and support them in providing assessments and effective therapeutic interventions for clients.

You will also manage a small caseload of your own and apply your expertise to complete functional assessments and tailor best practice interventions. Assist with building on the training resources that already exist within the business, whilst being provided with flexibility in all aspects of business operations including how you are remunerated and rewarded.

This is a full-time position and a great opportunity for an experienced therapist looking to step up into a leadership role and make a difference in the disability sector.

About You:

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- 4 years’ experience 
- AHPRA registration
- NDIS experience and understanding is highly preferable however as long as you have clinical experience, this is key
- Experience leading people or have the interpersonal skills to be able to 
- A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills
- A good level of commercial acumen
- Strong documentation skills 
- Exceptional time management skills
- Proficient in the use of psychometric screening tools such as the PEDI-CAT, Vineland - 3, WHODAS etc.
- Current drivers licence and registered vehicle
- NDIS Worker Check
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
