Some first- time presenters at ATSA are Helen Lindner & Lisa ValeMACA. They will be covering “High Standards: An overview of the standards, products and practices that promote safe restraint options for Australian children with disability and medical conditions travelling in motor vehicles” and Dr Marilyn Di Stefano, Road Safety Victoria will be presenting “Motorised Mobility Device use: Interventions to enhance user safety”.

Dr Theresa Harada, Research Fellow, University of Wollongong, will be talking about “Electric Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters In the Wild: Users’ Resilience and Innovation”.

Rebecca Bateson and Rachel Croome from the Therapeutic Goods Administration will also be presenting “Changes to the regulation of assistive technology – An update from the TGA on the latest regulatory changes impacting the assistive technology sector”.
