Allied Health degree OR experience within Recruitment, employment or disability placement services.
Desirable:
Demonstrated understanding of, and experience working within the WorkCover and TAC systems.
Demonstrated ability to achieve billing targets.
Description
MediRecruit have several providers currently seeking Vocational Consultants.
The role of the Vocational consultant is to actively market the skills and aptitudes of individual job seekers to meet the
employment needs and skill demands of employers.
Responsibilities:
Manage a case load of injured workers (with various physical and/or psychological conditions) and assist them to secure employment with an employer. This includes assisting clients to become independent job seekers and then guiding them toward an appropriate vocational path.
Ability to create and maintain links with a network of employers offering suitable positions. This is to be achieved by utilising existing business contacts and by cold calling new contacts.
Conduct vocational assessments within the required time frames and service standards.
Vocational counselling for job seekers that links to employment.
Liaison with job sites, case managers and job seekers.
Job seeking assistance.
